Margaret (Peg) Louise Hebard White

Peg was born October 8, 1928 in Whitesboro, NY, the youngest of 5 daughters born to Charles and Helen Hebard. She passed away August 27, 2021 at Foxwood Springs Senior Living Center in Raymore, MO after a short illness.

She attended and graduated from Whitesboro High School in 1947. In 1950, she married Robert L. (Bob) White - the boy next door. To their union, five children were born. They moved the family to Kansas City, MO in 1970 when Bob's job was transferred. She was a full time housewife and mother, and raised four children. Cooking, cake decorating and spending time with her grandchildren took up a good share of her time. She and Bob were also avid bowlers for over 30 years.

She was pre-deceased by her parents, husband, infant son, daughter and son-in-law Joyce and Tim Doyen, and three sisters: Flora Hebard Humphrey, Rachel Hebard Hughes, and Eleanor Hebard Mustard.

She is survived by children Janice Owens (Dennis Marchant), Nancy Callahan (Greg Harper), and Russell (Michelle) White, sister Marian Weiss of New Hartford, NY, ten grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be private at a later date. The family requests no flowers and suggests donations to Wayside Waifs (3901 Martha Truman Rd, Kansas City, MO 64137) or the Heart of America Alzheimer's Association (https://www.alz.org/kansascity).
