MARGARET I. BANNERMAN

Margaret I. Bannerman, age 88, of Raymore, Missouri passed away peacefully on April 16, 2025, surrounded by her loving family at Foxwood Springs Living Center.

The Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Sabina Catholic Church, 700 Trevis Ave., Belton, Missouri 64012. The Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m., with Christian Burial at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, 7601 Blue Ridge Blvd., Raytown, Missouri 64138, immediately following Mass.

Margaret was born in Egeland, North Dakota on November 6, 1936, the daughter of John W. McLean and Marggaret Elphinstone McLean. After graduating high school, Margaret went on to receive her associate degree in business and created a career for herself with the Internal Revenue Service and the Department of Agriculture for many years. On September 12, 1959, Margaret was joined in marriage with her loving husband, Donald and together they were blessed with four children, LeAnn, Lori, Michael, and Patrick.

A woman of Catholic faith, Margaret was a member of the St. Sabina Catholic Parish and the Knight of Columbus/Women's Auxiliary for many years. Margaret loved to read, play cards, travel and sewing of all kinds.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, John and Marggaret McLean; and her husband of 60 years, Donald F. Bannerman.

She is survived by her four children, LeAnn Kinman (Jerry), Lori Wayne (Casey), Mike Bannerman (Janelle), and Pat Bannerman (Misty); two brothers, John McLean (Marianne) and Archie McLean; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St Sabina Parish.
