MARCELLE "MARCY" Y. KUKOWSKI

Marcelle "Marcy" Y. Kukowski, age 79, of Belton, Missouri passed away March 19, 2017 at her home.

Visitation with be held from 9:30-10:30 a.m., with the Rosary beginning at 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Coronation of Our Lady Catholic Church in Grandview, Missouri. Burial will take place at Wills Cemetery in Peculiar, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be given to the family.

Marcy was born June 2, 1937 in Greenbush, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Harry and Margaret (Kelly) Schires. On November 16, 1957 Marcy was united in marriage to Kenneth H. Kukowski. Together they were blessed with four children, Colleen, Lonnie, Denise and Kendall. As a wife, mother and grandmother, Marcy lovingly served her family as a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Margaret Schires. She is survived by her devoted husband of 59 ½ years, Kenneth H. Kukowski; her children, Colleen Vandendaele (Mark), Lonnie Burhans (Stephan), Denise White (Craig) and Kendall Kukowski (Jessica); sister, Myrna Cwikla (Dave); 8 grandchildren, Marcus & Katelyn Vandendaele, Nicole Adams (Jay), Rachel Burhans, Jenna Courter (Chris), Jacob White, Carson & Ava Kukowski; and 5 great-grandchildren, Oliver Courter, Alexa, Maren, Coen, and Beck Adams.
