LUCY MAY CLAYCOMB

In the beginning February 12, 1920, God created Lucy Claycomb (Nickerson). She was born in Chula, MO. She married Charles R. Claycomb August of 1940. Together they were blessed with their sons Dr. Gerald Claycomb (St. Louis) and Gary "Tony" Claycomb (Lee's Summit) and their daughter Cindy Transue RH. (Phoenix) completed their family. Lucy was a grandmother to five and great grandmother to fifteen.

She and Charles enjoyed farming, travel, and working at church (Northern Hills Baptist). She worked for the Raytown School District in administration for eighteen years.

Foxwood Springs was a blessing to her. Her experience was of excellent care and thoughtful kindness.

She began a new beginning with the Lord on September 17, 2019. While she will be missed by many, all knew of her faith. We will see her on the other side.

We will celebrate her life in a memorial service at a later date.

A visitation will be held 10:00-11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Cullen Funeral Home, Raymore, Missouri. Graveside services to follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Resthaven Cemetery, Trenton, Missouri. A memorial service will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 10, 2019 in Bromwell Lounge at Foxwood Springs Living Center, Raymore, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to the Northern Hills Baptist Church, 17211 NE 180th St, Holt, MO 64048.
