LUCIANA VELA RAMIREZ

Luciana Vela Ramirez, age 79, of Raymore, Missouri, formerly of Beeville, Tx passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2020.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 18, 2020 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083. Following visitation, a funeral will take place at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. at Mount Moriah Cemetery 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64131.

Luciana was born in Corpus Christi, Texas to Luciano Vela and Maria Aleman on December 6, 1940. After Luciana graduated high school, she spent most of her life as a homemaker. Luciana's nine children were her entire life. She loved raising them and watching them grow into adulthood. Luciana had a love for children, and they were blessed to be cared for by her. She also enjoyed watching television (soaps), shopping, spending time with family, and watching soccer, or "football" as she called it.

Luciana was preceded in death by her children's father, Salome P. Ramirez; parents, Luciano and Maria Vela; two brothers, Jesse Vela and Alfred Vela; and son in law, John Falcon.

She is survived by her nine children, Armando Ramirez (Lupe), Ruben Ramirez, Robert Ramirez (Perla), Salome Ramirez Jr., Javier Ramirez (Roxanne), Diana Ramirez, Cynthia Falcon, Leticia Pizano, and Madelena De La Rosa (Ray); brother, Paul Vela (Rosa), sister, Gracie Luna (Javier) and Rene Vela; thirty four grandchildren; fifty great grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren.
