LOYCE VIRGINIA FITZPATRICK
Loyce Virginia Fitzpatrick, age 86, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away on Friday January 8, 2021, surrounded by her loving family at home.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 14, 2021, at the funeral home, followed by a burial at Raymore Cemetery.
Loyce was born in Calcasieu, Louisiana on July 2,1934, to Huey Franklin Barton and Eunice LaPearl (Stokes) Barton. After graduating high school Loyce continued her education and received her associate degree. She worked for the U.S. Government for 31 years and retired as a Payroll Manager for the United States Marine Corps. In life she was blessed with two children, Kenneth and Debbie. On July 18,1981, she was joined in marriage with her husband Charles Norman Fitzpatrick. Loyce enjoyed reading, playing the piano, painting, travel, crossword puzzles, and checkers. She was a member of the Lions Club and as a woman of faith was a member of the First Baptist Church of Raymore, now Fellowship Church Raymore Campus.
Loyce was preceded in death by her parents, Huey and Eunice Barton; sister, Laulette Rose Key; and brother Donald William Barton. She leaves behind her loving husband of over thirty-nine years, Charles Norman Fitzpatrick; son, Kenneth Gallatin Jr.; daughter, Debbie Hendricks (Rob); stepchildren, Norma, Norberta and Dirk; six grandchildren, Renee, Matt, Travis, Kenneth III, Tiffany, and A.J.; and thirteen great grandchildren.
