LOUISE McCRARY HORNER

Louise McCrary Horner, 86, of Foxwood Springs Senior Living Center, Raymore, MO, died July 3, 2014. She was born July 9, 1927 in Glasgow, MO to Spear and Allie Colvin McCrary.
Louise was active in Hickman Mills Community Christian Church, her children's school activities, and enjoyed being a nursing assistant at Lakeside Hospital for many years. After moving to Foxwood Springs Senior Living Center from Grandview, MO, she and her husband became very involved in volunteer work there.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Jess L. Horner, and her sister Kathleen Johnson. She leaves her children Teresa Rene Copenhaver and her husband Stan, Peculiar, MO; Myra Young and her husband, Stephen, Olathe, KS; and Bart Horner, Plentywood, MT; grandchildren Emily (Tono) Lippy, Jessica (Isaac) Katambayi, Malea (Trever) Parton, Traci Copenhaver, and Caleb Horner; great grandchildren Madelynn, John, and Nolan Lippy, and Nilah and Xander Katambayi.
Visitation will be 4-6 PM Sunday at Cullen Funeral Home, Raymore, with prayer services 5:30 PM. Memorial services will be 10:30 AM Monday in Holmes Hall at Foxwood Springs Senior Living Center, Raymore. Graveside services will be 10:30 AM Tuesday at Washington Cemetery, Glasgow, MO.
