In Loving Memory of Lorna Kroencke

November 8, 1954 – August 30, 2026

Lorna Kroencke, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2026, at the age of 71.

For 32 years, Lorna shared a beautiful life with her beloved husband, Dave, the love of her life. Together they created countless cherished memories filled with family, friendship, laughter, and love.

Lorna found joy in the simple things—hummingbirds, flowers, camping, water aerobics, and time spent with family and friends. She treasured her many years at Oak Tree RV Park and the friendships made there. Her beloved dog, Gage, was more than a pet; he was one of the kids and held a special place in her heart.

Above all, Lorna cherished her family. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her immense love and pride, and she treasured every moment with them. She will be remembered for her loving heart, gentle spirit, and the happiness she brought to those around her.

Lorna is survived by her husband, David Kroencke; sister and brother-in-law, Norma and Chuck Lewis; mother-in-law, Shirley Hayes; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Teri and Scott Gill; son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Tammy Kroencke; daughter, Jill Ambroz; grandchildren, Morgan and Josh, Ally and Travis, Mallory, Payton, Jakob, Avari and Brandin; great-grandchildren, Emerson, Hallie, Baylor and Summer; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.

A Celebration of Life will be held at The Lumber Company 109 E Broadway St. in Peculiar, MO 64078 on September 27th, 2026 from 1:00-3:30pm.
