LLOYD VERNON BRADFIELD, JR.

Lloyd Vernon Bradfield, Jr., age 73, of Grandview, Missouri, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2020.

A celebration of Lloyd's life will be held on a date yet to be determined.

Lloyd was born in Meeker, Colorado on April 18, 1947 to Lloyd Bradfield Sr. and Mabel (Peterson) McClain. After graduating high school, Lloyd joined the United States Army, honorably serving his country for three years. In the summer of 1969 Lloyd was joined in marriage with his wife Peggy (Miller) on June 9th. Together they were blessed with five children. Lloyd earned his associate degree from DeVry University and worked for many years as a forklift operator for ISSCO, INC. In life Lloyd was a faithful and active member of the Church of Latter-Day Saints. He was also an NRA Golden Eagle, loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing, and horseback riding.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd Bradfield Sr. and Mabel McClain; daughter, Cleta Marie Bradfield; brother, Ray Bradfield, and stepsister, Beverly Porter.

He leaves behind his loving wife of over fifty-one years, Peggy Bradfield; two sons, Glenn Bradfield and Jeremiah Bradfield (Julie); three daughters, Juanita Reeves (Chuck), Darla Bradfield, and Babbette Bradfield; two brothers, Gary McClain of Denver, Colorado and Russell McClain of Meeker, Colorado; and seven grandchildren, Alex, Hailey, Kami, Charlie, Seth, Lee, and Olivia.
