IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Linda Marie
Teague
February 21, 1948 – December 18, 2025
Linda Marie (Davenport) Teague, age 77, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2025, in Loch Lloyd, Missouri.
Born on February 21, 1948, in Nevada, Missouri, Linda built a life rooted in dedication and service. She attended Kansas City Business College, where she began shaping a path that would lead to a meaningful career in education.
In 1977, Linda joined the Belton School District and spent more than three decades supporting students and staff with steadfast commitment until her retirement in 2011. Her efforts were recognized with numerous awards over the years—a testament to her professionalism and the positive impact she had on those around her. Belton School District was also where she met her lifelong dear friend and confidant Teresa Stocking.
On January 6, 1968, Linda married Jack Teague—the love of her life—and together they began their love story by building a beautiful life and home filled with laughter, support, and shared passions. They welcomed their son Darrin and devoted themselves wholeheartedly to supporting his endeavors, especially on the soccer field cheering from the sidelines. Jack and Linda were always present with unwavering enthusiasm. She was a devoted mother and grandmother whose presence enriched every family gathering.
Linda and Jack had a passion for travel and explored destinations including Las Vegas, Switzerland, Aruba, and Mexico. In retirement, they especially enjoyed spending time in San Antonio, Texas, where they relished moments with their grandchildren.
Beyond her career and family, Linda found joy in music, dancing, traveling, and her fondness for muscle cars. Whether moving to a favorite tune or discovering new destinations, she embraced each experience as a new adventure. Linda was always up for anything.
Linda is survived by her beloved husband Jack; son Darrin (Lydia) Teague; grandchildren Riley (Rale) Gutierrez, Evan Teague, and Ty Teague. She also had a very close relationship with Jack's family who will remember her fondly.
Her kind heart and generous spirit touched many lives and created lasting memories for those fortunate enough to know her, especially her close community of neighbors and her church family.
May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her and continue to inspire stories filled with laughter, love, and adventure. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
