LINDA "KAY" LOEHR

Linda "Kay" Loehr, age 77, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away peacefully in the presence of her family on March 9, 2018, at John Knox Village Hospice House of Lee's Summit, Missouri.

Inurnment Service will take place at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 24, 2018, at the Raymore Cemetery, Raymore, Missouri.

Memorial contributions may be given to the John Knox Village Hospice, 400 NW Murray Rd., Lee's Summit, Missouri 64081.

Kay was born on April 3, 1940, in Pensacola, Florida. She spent her childhood in Wellington, Kansas.

On August 15, 1959, Kay was united in marriage with Norman A. Loehr. Together, Kay and Norman were blessed with four sons, Mitchell, Michael, Lance, and Russell.

For over 30 years, Kay worked in the label room at Marion Laboratories pharmaceutical company in Kansas City, Missouri until her retirement. Kay went on to work for Hallmark Cards for over 10 years.

Kay enjoyed organizing various activities at local nursing homes. She was a member of The Marion Club which focused on holiday festivities, birthday parties, and retiree reunions. She was also involved in various charitable organizations. In her spare time, Kay enjoyed visiting estate sales and garage sales.

Kay spent 58 years of wonderful memories with her husband, Norman, until his passing in October of 2017. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Norman A. Loehr; three sons, Mitchell, Michael, and Russell Loehr; her mother, Opal Morton; and brother, Bill Morton.

Kay is survived by her son, Lance and his wife, Kathy; her brother, Tom Morton; 5 grandchildren, Chad (wife, Trisha), Brandy (husband, Troy), Josh, Melissa, and Matt; and nine great-grandchildren.
