LINDA M. CHAMBERS
Linda M. Chambers, age 66, of Harrisonville, Missouri, passed away on February 9, 2018, at KU Medical Center.
Funeral service begins at 11:00 a.m., with visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m., on Saturday, February 17, 2018, at the LORD of Love Lutheran Church in Belton, Missouri. Burial will take place at the Wills Cemetery in Peculiar, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Lung Association (www.lung.org).
Linda was born on December 11, 1951, in Atchison, Kansas. She was the daughter of Robert Halling and Virginia (Dutton) Halling.
In 1971, Linda received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from Avila University.
On May 27, 1978, Linda was united in marriage with Ronald "Ron" Chambers. Together, Linda and Ron were blessed with five children, Jeffrey, Eric, Adam, Amanda, and Molly.
For over 46 years and until 2017, Linda provided exceptional care for countless families at Baptist Lutheran Medical Center and at Research Medical Center where she served as a rehabilitation nurse.
Linda was a member of AARN (American Association of Registered Nurses).
She loved spending time with her family and especially her beloved grandchildren. In her spare time, Linda liked to relax with a good book, take trips with her husband, and also enjoyed solving crossword puzzles.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Virginia Halling; and her brother, Michael J. Halling.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Ron Chambers; children, Jeffrey D. Chambers (Jennifer), Eric J. Chambers (Leslie), Adam P. Chambers, Amanda E. Wilson (Brian), and Molly R. Chambers; brother, Robert Halling (DeeAnna); sister-in-law, Jane Halling; and five grandchildren, Dayton, Logan, Connor Joseph, Luke, and Ella.
