LEROY G. OZANNE

Leroy G. Ozanne, age 88, entered his final reward on July 16, 2025 at his home in Raymore, Missouri. He trusted Jesus as his savior as a young man and has lived his life with a strong faith in God. Heaven is now his home!

He was born on May 29, 1937 in Richey, Montana. He was the oldest of eight children born to Roscoe and Gwendolyn Ozanne. He enlisted in the United States Navy and proudly served on small ships and an aircraft carrier during the Korean War.

Upon discharge from active military duty he remained in southern California where he was employed as a firefighter. In his spare time he enjoyed surfing and tinkering with his speed boat and dune buggy.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Marcia Ozanne. Other survivors include a son, Nick (Gina) Ozanne, grandson, Ross Ozanne, and brother, Roderick Ozanne.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083. Leroy will then be laid to rest at the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Higginsville with a graveside service at 1:00 p.m.
