LEROY CROUCH
Leroy Crouch, age 77, of Belton, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at Research Medical Center.
A Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 11, 2019 with a Funeral Service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Cullen Funeral Home 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083. A Burial will immediately follow the Funeral Service at Belton Cemetery in Belton, Missouri.
Leroy was born on September 6, 1941 in Belton, Missouri. He was the son of Elmer J.B. Crouch and Catherine M. Shanahan Crouch. Leroy was one of four children including, Rose Marie, Paul, and Shirley.
After high school Leroy entered the work force and made a career for himself. For thirty years, Leroy worked in the warehouse for True Value. On August 23, 1969 Leroy was joined in marriage with his late wife, Alice Jewel Crouch. Together they were blessed with four children, Karen, Rick, Cathy, and Emma. In life, Leroy enjoyed fishing, bowling with Alice, and spent his time drinking coffee and playing cards. Leroy was also an active member of a non-profit organization in Belton called Jay-Cees for many years.
Leroy is preceded in death by his loving wife of thirty years, Alice Crouch; parents, Elmer and Catherine Crouch; son, Richard Crouch; sister, Rose Marie Holman; brother Paul Crouch; grandson, Derrick Crouch; and three granddaughters, Diane Wolf, Jessica Main, and Lora Patrick.
He is survived by his loving daughters, Karen Patrick (William), Catherine Tillett (Daniel), and Emma Wolf (Benny); sister, Shirley Gregoire (Richard); eleven grandchildren, Shawn Patrick, Cabrin Crouch, Ann Minnick, Christopher Main, Tamera Main, Trenton Minnick, Lesley Wolf, Zachary Wolf, Alexis Crouch, Jessica Tillett, and Alex Tillett; and fifteen great grandchildren, Lilly Leach, Luna Jackson, Richard Crouch-Mead, Ember Main, Christopher Main Jr., Cooper Minnick, Conner Minnick, Camden Minnick, Atom Arceneaux, Taylor Patrick-Roos, Clayton Patrick, Robert Padgett, Aaron Carter Williams, Jayden Padgett, and Chandler Padgett.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Diabetes Association, 7285 West 132 nd Street, Overland Park, Kansas 66213.
