LEONARD BRYANT SLATER
Leonard Bryant Slater, 76 of Raymore, Missouri passed away June 20, 2011. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, June 23, 2011 at Cullen Funeral Home with visitation from 1-2 PM. Burial will be in Raymore Cemetery. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society. Leonard was born January 2, 1935 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of William and Mary Weiss Slater. He was a cabinet maker for years and a member of Local Carpenters #61. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Danny; brother, Robert and sisters, Georganne and Mary. Mr. Slater is survived by his wife, Hazel; children, David Slater (Rochelle), Diana Slater, Dana Rehkop (Greg), Sharon Henderson, David Rowden, Phyllis Wright, Brenda Lauderdale and Gwen Canaday; brother, Charles Slater; sister, Carol Sturgill; 23 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren.
