In Loving Memory of Leonard Joseph Porter

It is with hearts full of gratitude and sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and brother, Leonard Joseph Porter, on July 29th 2026, at the age of 57

He was a man who always put others before himself. Whether it was family, friends, or even someone he had just met, he was always willing to lend a helping hand, offer advice, or simply be there when he was needed.

He found joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved watching sports, enjoyed anime, and cherished the time he spent fishing and bowling. More than anything, he loved being surrounded by the people he cared about.

His kindness, generosity, and selfless spirit will be remembered by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Though he is no longer with us, the love he gave and the memories he created will remain in our hearts forever.

He is survived by his wife Penny Porter, their only son Nicolas Porter, his siblings Chris Porter and Kathy Smith and her children Colleen, Joann, and Evan who will continue to honor his legacy by living with the same compassion and love that he showed every day.

He will be deeply missed and forever loved.

A celebration of Leonard’s life will be held with a visitation on Saturday, August 22, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083.
