LELAND N. KEITH
Leland N. Keith, 94, died at Foxwood Springs Care Center, Raymore, MO on March 10, 2014. He is survived by his sister Wilma McDaniel of Sun City, AZ; his daughter Judith A. McMichael (Gene) of Kansas City, MO; and his son John C. Keith (Jeannette) of Loveland, CO; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Leland was born January 5, 1920 in Audubon, IA, the only son of Clyde Keith and Rose Nelson. He married Thelma Farrell in Washington, DC during WWII in 1944. Leland was in the Navy and was working for the Division of Naval Intelligence. After the war they moved to Des Moines, IA then Kansas City, MO where he worked for GSA. Retirement was spent at Laurie, MO, then Belton and Raymore, MO. They celebrated their 71st wedding anniversary in 2012.
A memorial service will be held at Foxwood Springs Senior Living – Holmes Hall, 500 Mott Drive, Raymore, MO on Wednesday, March 12th 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fellowship of John, Foxwood Springs Residents' Council, Box 701, Raymore, MO 64083 or to Grace Hospice, 9233 Ward Parkway, Suite 201, Kansas City, MO 64114.
