LEA AGNES BAILEY

Lea Agnes (Woodie) Bailey, 92, of Harrisonville, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024.

A private family service is being held on Thursday, May 2, 2024.  A celebration of life will be held in North Carolina later in May.

Lea was born in Idelwild, NC, the daughter of the late Rowie Woodie and the late Pliner (Baker) Woodie.   On August 04, 1951, she married Ernest H. Bailey in Altanta, GA.  Lea worked for AT&T for 26 years.

Lea is survived by her daughter Diann (Greg Clinkingbeard) Roche, Prairie Village, KS and daughter Donna Patrick, Harrisonville, MO; two grandchildren, Joe Knotts & Danielle Knotts.  Also survived by her siblings Dayton Woodie, Anna Belle Cox, Thomas (Hilda) Woodie, Dorman (Lucille) Woodie & Velma (William) Ellis, all of North Carolina, along with numerous nieces and nephews.  She is predeceased by her husband, her father and mother and the following siblings: Reba (Woodie) Bonewitz, Edsel Woodie and Hayden Woodie.
