LAWRENCE "LARRY" E. KINNAMON, JR.

Lawrence "Larry" Edward Kinnamon, Jr., age 70, of Belton, Missouri passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by the love of his family on Tuesday, May 23, 2017. Larry was born October 7, 1946 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was the son of Lawrence and Carolyn (Davis) Kinnamon. Larry was raised in Raytown and graduated from Raytown High School in the class of 1965.

In 1975, Larry graduated from UMKC with his Juris Doctorate degree. For over 30 years Larry dedicated his life to the practice of criminal law in Kansas City, Missouri; he also served as Public Defender in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Larry was a member of the Country Club Christian Church in Kansas City, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Carolyn Kinnamon.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years (05.29.1981), Patsy Kinnamon of the home; children, Laura Kinnamon of KCMO, David Kinnamon and wife Paula (Reeter) Kinnamon of Broken Arrow, OK, John Kinnamon of KCMO, Darin Smith and wife, Allyson Minshall of Grandview, MO, DeeAnn (Smith)Vaughn and husband Justin Vaughn of Belton, MO; eight grandchildren, Trevor Long, Alexis (Vaughn) Bearden and husband Brett Bearden, Aubrie Vaughn, Stewart Long, Austin Vaughn, A.J. Vaughn, Tristan Kinnamon and Trent Kinnamon.
