LARRY DAVID DIAL
Larry David Dial, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend passed away on November 15, 2025. Larry was born on January 15, 1952, and spent his whole life in the Belton/Raymore area.
He was the son of the late Warren and Marilyn Dial (Miller). He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Deann Dahmer, and his son Chris.
A graduate of Belton High School in 1970, Larry married his high school sweetheart Leanne (McKinley) in 1971, and they remained happily married until his passing. Together, Larry and Leanne had 3 sons: Mike, Casey, and Chris. Larry worked for over 40 years in the construction industry, mostly with Northcraft Floor Coverings in Raytown, MO where he specialized in interior finishings. He also worked for the Ray-Pec School District as Head of Maintenance after his retirement from Northcraft.
Larry was a volunteer youth sports coach and member of the Raymore Jaycees in the 1980s, President of the Ray-Pec Booster Club in the 1990s and was an active member of both St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Raymore and Church of the Resurrection in Overland Park.
Larry loved deer hunting, playing golf, and traveling with his wife Leanne. They have owned a time share in Hilton Head, SC for the last 25+ years and took yearly extended vacations there with family and friends.
Larry enjoyed spending time watching his grandchildren play sports throughout their youth, high school, and college careers. Larry's legacy lives on through the many lives he touched, the friendships he shared, and the love of family and faith that guided his daily life.
Larry is survived by his wife Leanne, brother Don, sons Mike (Jaime) and Casey (Jaime), and his four grandchildren, Sydney, Sophia, Anderson, and Evie.
Services will be held on Saturday, November 22 at Cullen Funeral Home, Inc., 612 W. Foxwood Dr., Raymore, Missouri. Visitation will be from 10:00am - 12:00pm followed by a Celebration of Life at 12:00pm. The family has requested Larry's organs to be donated and the body to be cremated.
