LANNY R. CARROLL

Lanny R. Carroll, 78, of Raymore, MO passed away on February 28, 2026. Born on April 4, in Nevada, MO. He was a loving husband to Carolyn.

Lanny served in the United States Air Force as a Sgt. from 1966-1970. Following discharge, he began work at Labconco while pursuing engineering classes and later at Broderson Manufacturing as the Vice President of New Product Development, where he retired from in 2011.

Dad’s love for his family defined his life, preferring to spend an afternoon sitting in the sun together or around the table sharing a meal. He was happiest when his people were surrounding him, and where he was warm.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Carolyn; his children, Megan (Phillip), Lindsey (Bud) and Devon (Amanda); and his 4 grandchildren with whom some of his happiest moments were shared: Bristol, Teige, Hudson and Adelyn. He will be greatly missed by his “baby boy,” Dewey. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Zana.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Cullen Funeral Home, Inc., 612 W. Foxwood Dr., Raymore, Missouri. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. followed by the service to honor Lanny’s life at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Wills Cemetery in Peculiar, Missouri.
