LANCE MICHAEL HAYS

Lance Michael Hays, age 15, of Peculiar, Missouri, passed away at his home on April 21, 2018.

Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 27, 2018, at the Abundant Life Church (304 SW Persels Rd., Lee's Summit, MO, 64081). Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:30 p.m., Thursday, April 26, at the Abundant Life administration building (414 SW Persels Rd., Lee's Summit, MO, 64081). Burial will take place at the Raymore Cemetery in Raymore, Missouri.

*The family requests that all guests please dress casual; in honor of Lance's favorite casual style, shorts and tennis shoes.

Lance was born on March 14, 2003, at Menorah Medical Center, in Overland Park, Kansas. He was the son of Michael P. Hays and Tamara E. (Putnam) Hays.

Lance attended the 9th grade at the Raymore-Peculiar High School. Lance enjoyed playing soccer for Sporting Blue Valley; He was also on the freshman soccer team at Ray-Pec. He was a member of the FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America). His favorite hobby included playing video games.

Lance is survived by his parents, Michael and Tamara Hays; his sister, Katelyn Hays; paternal grandparents, Mike and Debbie Hays; maternal grandparents, Dave and Connie Putnam; paternal great-grandmother, Hazel Hays; paternal aunt and uncle, Jody and Micah Anderson; maternal aunt and uncle, Julie Houston and Jason Houston; cousins, Christian Houston, Hailey Conard, Andrew Houston, Morgan Houston, Matthew Houston, and Raygan Conard, Phoenix Bohrn. Many great Aunts and Uncles and second Cousins.
