KODY W. BROCKMAN

Kody W. Brockman, age 27, of Peculiar, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2019.

A Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on May 4, 2019 at The Summit Church 3381 NW Chipman Rd., Lee's Summit, Missouri 64081 immediately followed by a Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m. at The Summit Church. A celebration of Kody's life will be held following the service from 2-6pm at The Bridge Space 210 SW Market Street , Lees Summit MO 64081.

Kody was born on January 11, 1992 in Bedford, Texas. He was the son of Wayne Brockman and Susan Ortiz. Kody was one of three children including Kvols and Molly. After graduating high school, Kody furthered his education at tech school and began working as an HVAC Engineer at Tallgrass Retirement Communities.

In life, Kody was blessed with two beautiful children, Kinley and Kamdin. He was an avid golfer and loved lake life living and everything involved therewith. Kody was notorious for impromptu fun games with his girls indoors and out.

Kody is preceded in death by his brother, Kvols; maternal grandparents, William and Ruth Schwarck; and uncle, Terry Schwarck.

He is survived by his parents, Wayne Brockman (Lisa Blazic) and Susan Ortiz (Brandon); two children, Kinley and Kamdin; sister Molly Williams (Kurt); step-brother, Keegan Ortiz; paternal grandparents, Don and Mary Margaret Brockman; and nieces and nephews, Kage, Keller, and Kessa Williams.

A trust fund has been set up for Kody's daughters. Contributions can be made payable to Kinley and Kamdin Brockman Trust  at any Country Club Bank location or mailed  to Country Club Bank c/o Mary Watkins 9400 Mission Rd Prairie Village KS 66206.
