KIMMIE JO BARRETT

Kimmie Jo Barrett, age 58, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at St. Luke's East in Lee's Summit, Missouri.

Kimmie was born in Kansas City, Missouri on August 18, 1966 to Jerry McConnaughhay and Barbara (Clover) McConnaughhay. In life, Kimmie held a strong faith in her Lord Jesus Christ and was a member of the Belton Assembly of God. She enjoyed softball, loved children and animals. She was quite the animal whisperer.

Kimmie was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Barbara McConnaughhay.

She is survived by her son, David Barrett (wife Jacqueline); two brothers, Darren McConnaughhay (wife Ann) and Danny McConnaughhay (wife Amy); sister, Cassie Hader; and two granddaughters, Gracelynn and Mila Barrett.

A celebration of Kimmie's life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at the Belton Assembly of God, 613 E. North Ave., Belton, Missouri 64012.
