KATHY SUE MAPLE

Kathy Sue Maple, age 67, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, March 31, 2022.

A celebration of Kathy's life will be held on a later date.

Kathy was born in Independence, Missouri on September 20, 1954 to Charles Gill and Mary Kathryn (Hammers) Gill. Kathy graduated high school and went on to further her education achieving her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and her Master's degree in Counseling Psychology. In the winter of 1980, she was joined in marriage with her late husband Kevin on January 19th. Together their union was blessed with one daughter, Nellie. Kathy had a passion for teaching, primarily elementary level students. She was also very inspired by nature, Monarch Butterflies, and flowers. She enjoyed gardening, reading books with her grandchildren, baking, listening to music, spending time with her beloved friends, and antiquing.

Kathy was preceded in death by her loving husband of over forty-one years, Kevin Maple; and her parents, Charles and Mary Kathryn Gill.

She is survived by her daughter, Nellie K. Maple Parman (husband Daniel) and their children, Judah and Joplin; and her sister, Melinda Gill.
