KARLA LYNN WATTERS

Karla Lynn Futvoye-Watters peacefully passed away at the Kansas City Hospice House, on December 17th, 2017 in Kansas City, Missouri at the age of 68.

Karla is survived by her mother, Jeri M. Futvoye of Raymore, Missouri; her daughter, Amber L. Watters Crenshaw, her grandchildren, Isabella and Cooper Crenshaw, of Belton, Missouri, her sister, Lisa T. Futvoye-Shepherd of Galveston, Texas, brother Curt M. Futvoye of Kansas City, Missouri as well as her niece and nephews: Matt, Carling, Ian, Joshua, Zack and Spencer She was preceded in death by her father, Arnold L. Futvoye, Jr. and her sister, Debe' Sue Futvoye-Lindsey.

Karla was born September 18th, 1949 in Kansas City, Missouri to Arnie and Jeri Futvoye. She graduated from Ruskin High School in 1967 and attended Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg. For over a decade, Karla worked as Office Manager in the Accounts Receivable department of Metal by The Foot, Inc. in Kansas City, Missouri. She doted on her little dog, Lucy, collected angels as well as frogs. Karla was blessed to have a close and long lasting circle of good friends.

Her daughter Amber was the light of her life, her grandchildren, Isabella and Cooper, were her heart and soul. Karla will always be remembered as a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother, daughter and sister.

A Celebration of Life Prayer Service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, December 21, 2017, at Cullen Funeral Home of Raymore, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be given to the Kansas City Hospice Foundation, 1500 Meadow Lake Parkway, Suite 200, Kansas City, MO 64114.
