KAREN LYNN HARMS

Karen Lynn Harms, age 67, of Belton, Missouri, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024.

Services will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at South Haven Baptist Church, 16800 Bel-Ray Blvd., Belton, Missouri 64012. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Karen will then be laid to rest at Belton Cemetery in Belton, Missouri.

Karen was born in Tampa, Florida on February 1, 1957 to Harlan Heck and Merita Frances (Frankie) (Kerrick). In life, Karen enjoyed cooking, sewing, crocheting, making jewelry, and purses.

Karen was preceded in death by her father, Harlan Heck; as well as her step father, Darryl Spena.

Karen is survived by her husband Ed Harms; two daughters, Heather McDaniel and Victoria Guider; three grandchildren, Juliette and Kevin McDaniel and Jacob Guider; mother, Merita Spena; two brothers, Keith Heck (Jo Ann) and Bruce Heck (Angela); four step brothers, Michael Dean Spena (Katherine), Marten Laverne Spena (Ronda), Paul Montgomery Spena (Jenny), and Mark Steven Spena (Beth); two step sisters Sharon Steen and Leesa Jackson; 15 step nieces and nephews; 20 step great nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Ruth Harms; sisters-in-law, Jean Harms, Susan Hayden, and Becky Cary (Greg); 6 nieces, 2 nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.
