KAREN JEAN FULPS

Karen Jean Fulps, age 57, of Lenexa, Kansas, passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2021.

A celebration of Karen's life will held with a visitation from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083.

Karen was born in Temple, Texas on March 24, 1964 to James Rufus Fulks and Jimmie Jean Gamphor. She grew up in Warsaw, MO but spent most of her adult life in the Kansas City metropolitan. She was a woman of faith and trusted in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She found great comfort in scripture and Christian music both hymns and contemporary. In life she loved spending time with family, and thrift shopping with her mother. Her humility, kindness, and love was a gift to all. She had a strong work ethic and spent approximately 20 years working in quality control for the Lenexa JCPenny Distribution Center.

Karen was preceded in death by her father, James Rufus Fulks; paternal grandparents, Clifford and Delta Fulks; and maternal grandparents, Gene and Violet Husong.

She is survived by her loving husband, Edward D. Fulps; mother, Jimmie Jean Gamphor; daughter, Jamie Peccatiello (Michael); two sons, James R. Homan and Jacob E. Fulps; three grandsons, Michael J. Peccatiello, James D. Homan, and Dominic Peccatiello; two granddaughters, Cameron Peccatiello and Jocelyn Peccatiello; sister, Kelly Newman; and beloved niece, nephew, aunts, uncles, and many cousins.
