KAREN A. BROUSE

Karen A. Brouse, age 64, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2020 in Kansas City, Missouri.

A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr., Raymore, Missouri 64083. Immediately following will be a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be held following the funeral at Raymore Cemetery in Raymore, Missouri.

Karen was born in Afton, Oklahoma on January 17, 1956 to Carroll Collins and Delores (Barnes) Collins. Shortly after graduating high school, Karen was joined in marriage with her husband Charlie E. Brouse. Together they were blessed with two children, Curtis and DaNelle. As a woman of Baptist faith, Karen spent most of her life giving her time and energy to others. Currently Karen is a member of the Abundant Life Church in Lee's Summit as well as the First Baptist Church of Platte City. For years Karen has volunteered herself to church functions and gatherings. She was excellent at crafts and decorating and of course spoiling her grandchildren.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Carroll and Delores Collins.

She leaves behind her husband of forty-four years, Charlie Brouse; son, Curtis Brouse (Sara); daughter, DaNelle Lowe (Casey); son, Robert Brouse (Robin); two sisters, Cheryl Julo (Bill) and Kathy Fanning (James); and five grandchildren, Caitlyn, Kourtney, Evette, Liam, and Mason.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer's Association, 3846 W. 75th St. #4126, Prairie Village, Kansas 66208.
