KAILA JANE DAY

Kaila Jane Day passed peacefully in the arms of family on March 13, 2014. She was born at 6:43 pm on March 7, 2014 and met the eyes of Jesus about 11:30 pm on March 13, 2014 from a rare infant disease. During her six short days of life here on Earth, she touched many lives, and was deeply loved by family, friends, and the NICU staff and doctors. Kaila was the daughter of Mercer and Tricia Day of Belton, MO. She is survived by two sibling, Atlantis and Rory, both at home; her maternal grandparents, Barbara Waltz of Raymore, MO and Lloyd Waltz; her paternal grandmother, Ruth Day of Belton, MO; two great grandmothers; five aunts; seven uncles and fourteen cousins. Kaila was loved by all who met her, and will be greatly missed. She will always remain her parents' precious baby and Atlantis and Rory's little sister, and they will hold her again in Heaven one day. We will always love you and miss you Kaila.  Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Friday, March 21, 2014 at Cullen Funeral Home with visitation 2-3 PM.
