IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Judith C.
Brown
March 27, 1942 – November 26, 2018
JUDITH CAROLYN BROWN
Judith Carolyn Brown, age 76, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 26, 2018 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
A Memorial service in Judith's honor will be held beginning at 2 p.m., with visitation from 1:00-2:00, Saturday, December 1, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Peculiar.
Judith was born on March 27, 1942 on the Little Niangua River, in Missouri. She was the daughter of Boss "Jack" W. Howard and Muriel L. Moulder. Growing up, Judith had one sister, Janice and two brothers, Jim and Jack.
In 1959 Judith graduated from Macks Creek High School in Macks Creek, Missouri. The following year in the summer of 1960, Judith was joined in marriage with the love of her life, Donald G. Brown. Together they shared the blessing of three children, Rhonda, Ronald and Nicole Renee, all of whom would attest to their mother's amazing cooking. For twenty years Judith worked in the Kansas City Assessors Office, before retiring in 1990.
As a woman of faith, Judith was a member of the First Baptist Church of Peculiar. However, it was in 1954 that Judith accepted Christ into her life at the Banister Baptist Church and was baptized in the Little Niangua River.
Judith would like to give special thanks to the world's best neighbors Michael and Sharon Adams, Don and Deb Babylon, and special friend of over 30 years, Linda Kane.
Judith is preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Donald G. Brown; and parents, Jack and Muriel Howard.
She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Brown Weber and her husband, Ronald E. of Lexena, KS; son, Ronald D. Brown and his wife DeAngela of Holden, MO, and daughter N. Renee Brown and her wife Day Al-Mohamed of Silver Spring, MD. Her sister Janice Conrick and her husband Jim; her brothers, Jim Howard and Jack Howard and his wife Linda; seven grandchildren, Kyrstan, Rhianna, Colin, Ryan, Heather, Alyce, and Brandon; and four great grandchildren, Madison, Lila, Clover, and Corbin. For these four, "Gigi" is at home in heaven "having fun with Jesus", as one of her great grandchildren said.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Habitat for Humanity – Truman Heritage 505 N. Dodgion St. Independence, Missouri 64050.
