JOYCE DIANE TURNER

Joyce D. Turner, age 66, of Belton, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2019

A Memorial Service will be held on a later date.

Joyce was born on June 17, 1952 in Washington, Missouri. She was the daughter of Waldo Lyle Myers and Gladys Elizabeth Cress. Growing up, Joyce was one of six children including, Alfonzo, Janet, Donald, David, and Dan.

In 1986, Joyce was joined in marriage with her late husband, Darwin Wilcox and in life Joyce was blessed with son, Christopher Turner. Joyce worked primarily for the government and was an avid member of an organization called "Eagles." Joyce would coordinate different fundraising events and opportunities for victims of cancer as well as autism awareness. She will be remembered as a very caring and giving woman, always there when needed.

Joyce is preceded in death by her loving husband of fourteen years, Darwin Wilcox; parents, Waldo and Gladys Myers; three brothers, Alfonzo, Donald, and David Myers; sister, Janet Manning; and sister-in-law, Barbara Myers.

She is survived by her loving son, Christopher Turner; and brother Dan Myers.
