Joseph Roy Vitti, 54, passed away on July 30, 2026.

Joey was born on July 24, 1972 to Marlene and Frank Vitti in Danbury, CT. After Joey graduated from Raymore-Peculiar High School in 1990, he went on to study at the University of Central Missouri.

He married the love of his life, Anh, when he was 31. They started a family and raised two beautiful children, Jess Lan Chi and Nissa Ly.

He spent most of his career in IT before going on to co-own a small local tax business with his wife, Anh.

Joey was predeceased by his grandfather, Wanace; step-grandfather, Harry; grandmother, Margaret; and his aunt, Barbara. He is survived by his wife, kids, twin brother, mother and father, and a countless multitude of loving friends and family.

Joey left behind many legacies, but his most cherished one was his family.

Nissa, his youngest daughter, grew up blessed with the best father one could ask for. She says that in every lifetime she would (selfishly) choose him to be her dad. He was at every event, big or small, and no matter how busy he was, he would make time for the people he loved most. It was through this love he showed her everyday, that he shaped how she cares and loves for the people around her.

Jess, his eldest child, attributes their best qualities to their father -- most notably, the manner in which they love others, wholly and without reservation. He taught them the true meaning of unconditional love, which they fully intend to teach to everyone they can -- in his honor. They also fully intend everyday to carry with them the whimsy and joy he instilled in them. Joe will always live on in the hearts and lives of his children.

His wife Anh carries the indescribable pain of his loss in her heart while simultaneously carrying the joy and gratitude of being gifted the many years she had with him. He was her business partner, life partner and the love of her life.

Visitation services will be held at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. in Raymore on August 10th at 5:00-8:00 pm.
