JOSEPH LANE GILLENWATER
Joseph Lane Gillenwater, 63, of Grandview, MO passed away June 4, 2014. Graveside will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, MO. Joseph was born in San Antonio, Texas. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Sonya L. Sexton-Gillenwater. He is survived by his son, James LeBaron and one grandson, Brantley. Joseph served in the Vietnam War. He also received his Master's in Theology, which made him such a great story teller. Joseph was always there for anyone who needed someone to listen or just hear a kind word. He may not have had a lot of blood family but he was very wealthy in chosen family. Later in his life, he lived always "One Day at a Time."
