JORDAN D. BANKS

Jordan D. Banks, age 13, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Children's Mercy Medical Center.

A Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service to follow on September 5, 2018 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 West Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri. A Burial will be held at Wills Cemetery in Peculiar, Missouri.

A Memorial Contribution may be given to the Ronald McDonald Family Room at Children's Mercy, 2502 Cherry St. Kansas City, Missouri 64108. ( http://www.rmhckc.org )

Jordan was born on June 7, 2005 in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. He was the son of Aaron Banks and Jennifer Hult.

As an eighth-grade student of the Raymore-Peculiar School District, Jordan loved to play basketball and soccer with his peers as well as roller skating and sleeping over with friends. Jordan also very much enjoyed playing his video games, specifically Fortnite. When given the decision of what he wanted to eat, Jordan would invariably choose any kind of pasta. He invented his own pasta dish that he would cook and serve to his family. He was a kind, loving, polite young man that cared deeply for others.  If he saw someone in need, he would do whatever he could to help.  He had an infectious smile and was loved by so many people. Jordan also enjoyed swimming with his cousins and spending time with his family at the Lake of the Ozarks. He was a protective Big Brother and was always looking out for his twin sisters.  He was funny and could make you laugh even if you were feeling down and out.  He will be missed by so many people.

Jordan is survived by his loving parents, Aaron and Jennifer Banks; two sisters Chloe and Keera; Maternal grandparents, Gina and Robert Hult; Paternal grandparents, Brenda and Phil Banks; great grandmother, Eloise Hult; and aunts and uncles, Nanteza and Lloyd Shakes, Jessica Hult, Jared Hult, and Lonnell Banks.
