John William Reynolds
John William Reynolds, of Raymore, MO, passed away June 19, 2013 in Raymore, MO. John was born May 7, 1971 in Kansas City, MO. John married the love of his life, Erin (Werner) Reynolds on October 9, 2004 and together they created a beautiful family of 3 children, William, 7, Addison, 6, and Eloise, 19 months. John was a loving and patient father and husband; he was truly dedicated to his entire family. His family meant everything to him. He was an avid Mizzou fan and loved sports, especially watching and coaching his kids. John could always make his family and friends laugh; his sense of humor and quick wit will be greatly missed. For the past 16 years, John was a dedicated employee of Transamerica Life & Protection as Director of Underwriting. John was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Lee's Summit, MO. Besides his wife and family, John leaves behind his mother, Glenda Holman and step-father Bob of Raymore; brother, Eric Reynolds of Blue Springs; step-brother, Bryan Holman of Fort Collins, CO; grandparents Doris and William Davis of Raymore, and Dorothy Reynolds of Independence. John was preceded in death by his father, John Albert Reynolds in 1983 and his grandfather William Eugene Reynolds in 1990. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. He was also greatly loved and will be dearly missed by his mother and father-in-law, Eileen and Joe Werner of Harrisonville, MO; Erin's sister Anna, her husband, John, and son Owen Hennes of Overland Park, KS, and Erin's sister Emily Werner of Kansas City, MO.
The visitation will be at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Lee's Summit, MO from 3-5pm on Sunday afternoon, June 23rd. The burial mass will also be at Holy Spirit at 10am, Monday, June 24th. Internment will follow at Wills Cemetery in Peculiar, MO. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The John Reynolds Children's Education Fund and send to 1608 Halls Creek Ave, Raymore, MO 64083 or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
