JOHN LEE REED
John Lee Reed, age 66, of Belton, Missouri passed away August 21, 2017 at home surrounded by loving family. Graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at the Raymore Cemetery, Raymore, Missouri with military honors.
John was born on February 22, 1951 in Houston, Texas. He was the son of Lenora (Ward) Reed. After high school, John joined the United States Marines and proudly served his country. On February 25, 1972, John was united in marriage to Linda Par?. John and Linda were blessed with two children, Johnny and Markus. John was also blessed with a daughter, Susan, from a previous marriage.
He was a member of the Inter-Tribal Association of Kansas City.
John's favorite hobbies included spending time with his family, hanging out on the family boat, fishing, riding his Harley, playing video games, pool, chess and playing his organ. John was an avid philosopher and debater of life.
John was preceded in death by his mother, Lenora Reed.
John was well loved and will be missed. He is survived by his wife Linda; children, Johnny, Markus and Susan; brother, David; and seven grandchildren, Johnathan, Cynthia, Katelyn, Curtis, Kahylor, Alexandra, and Nicholas; Daughter-in-law, Holly, and son-in-law, Joe Edmiston.
