JOHN T. LEONARD

John T. Leonard, age 78, of Raymore, Missouri, asleep in Jesus on February 9, 2017.

He worked 32 years for Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad. He was in the Navy for 6years.
John enjoyed traveling with his wife Linda to unforgettable places including Hawaii, Niagara Falls, Las Vegas and also to the Grand Canyon.

John was the beloved husband of Linda Sue Leonard, dear father of Matthew Dean Leonard (Susan) and Patricia Lynn Leonard and the late Mark Anthony Leonard, dear step-dad to Laura Dee Gates (Tim), grandpa to Aidan Gates, Naomi and Josh Strong (Summer), and great grandpa to four great-grandchildren. John was the dear son of the late Minnie Lee (Brown) and William Charles Leonard; dear brother to Jim Leonard (Mel) and Nancy Herring (Dana), and the late Edwin Leonard; dear uncle and friend to many.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., with funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Cullen Funeral Home, Raymore, Missouri. An Inurnment will take place at Mt. Hope Cemetery in St. Louis at a later date. Chaplain Barry Pennington will be officiating for the funeral service.
