John C. Jongenelen long time resident of Roeland Park Ks. and member of St. Agnes Parish died from complications of dementia at the age of 95 in Raymore Missouri, on November 30th. John was born in The Netherlands and came to the United States in 1956. He was a mechanical draftsman for Fairbanks Morse Pump Co. for 30 years and spent his retirement in service to many as director of St. Mary's food kitchen in KC.Ks., Prison ministry in Leavenworth, Ks., Eucharist Minister at K.U. Med Ctr. and as a food server for Uplift in KC.Mo. He leaves Catharina, his wife of 69 years, six children, 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews in The Netherlands. His grandson Christopher and daughter-in-law Kathy preceded him in death. Visitation and Mass will be held at St. Sabina Catholic Church 700 Trevis Ave. in Belton Missouri on Friday December 3rd at 10am. Burial will be in Louisburg Cemetery 865 W.
