JOHN A. COLLETT

John A. Collett, 62, of Greenwood, MO passed away June 10, 2011. Funeral mass will be 3:00 PM Friday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with visitation from 1-3 PM. Memorials may be made to Holy Spirit Catholic Church. John lived a full and active life caring for family members, supporting the many ministries of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and operating Arsaw, a family business. He was also an active member of the Knights of Columbus. John was a graduate of Creighton University in Omaha, NE. He had a long work career in information systems with the Southern Pacific Railroad, Conagra Foods and the University of Kansas. On September 4, 1999 he married Ruby Domingo with whom he spent the happiest years of his life. She survives of the home. John is also survived by his mother, Darlene Collett, of the home, sisters, Bonnie Rexroad (spouse Jasper) of Harrisonville, MO, Patty Collett of Houston, TX, Mary Roselli (spouse Michael) of Blue Springs, MO, Shirley Fischer of Harrisonville, MO and his brother, Carl Collett (spouse Linda) of Wright City, MO. John is also survived by his father in law, Cirilo Domingo of the home, brother's in-law, Ferdinand Domingo (spouse Esther) of Cavite, Philippines; John Domingo (spouse Jean) of Cauayan City, Philippines, Cirilo Domingo, Jr. (spouse Erlinda) of Cauayan City, Philippines; sister in-law, Eden Taboada (spouse Carlo) of West Palm Beach, Florida along with several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. John was preceded in death by his father, James Collett, and his brother, Kenneth Collett, founder of Arsaw, and spouse Nancy, his brother in-law, Charles Fischer and his mother in-law, Adelaida Domingo. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
