JERRY LEE ODELL FISCHER

Jerry Lee Odell Fischer, age 75, of Raymore, Missouri passed away on January 19, 2025, at Medicalodges of Nevada in Nevada, Missouri surrounded by his loving family.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Cullen Funeral Home, Inc., 612 W. Foxwood Dr., Raymore, Missouri 64083. Visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held the following day at 11 a.m. in Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kansas with military honors.

Jerry Lee was born in Giddings, Texas on August 26, 1949, the son of Herman Fischer and Ella A. Mutschink. Shortly after high school, Jerry enlisted in the USMC serving his country for 3 years during Vietnam. Jerry met the love of his life, Rosa M. Villarreal and were married on September 5, 1970. Together they were blessed with two daughters Cassandra and Jennifer. In life, Jerry had a passion for reading every chance he could. He loved going on trips with the family to see the ocean, camping and fishing. But most of all he adored playing with his grandchildren.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Marvin, Bruce, Billy Ray, and Raymond Fischer; two sisters, Lillian Beisert and her husband Edmond, and Mildred Beisert.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Rosa M. Fischer; two daughters, Cassandra Williams and Jennifer Fischer; sister, Martha "Judy" Myers; five grandchildren, Amber Lamport (Jonathan), Tabitha Phipps, Savannah Castle (Joseph), Xaviar and Elijah Lewis; two great-grandchildren, Ryder and Ethan and numerous nephews and nieces in Texas.
