JENNIFER SUE BARKER

Jennifer Sue Barker, 59, of Raymore, MO passed away September 30, 2015. Celebration of Life will be 6-7 PM Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Cullen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wayside Waifs 3901 Martha Truman Rd, Kansas City, MO 64137. Jennifer was born April 15, 1956 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Richard and Nancy (Kindsvater) Cook. Jenny was among the first class to graduate from Hickman Mills High School, KCMO. After graduation she entered the court reporting profession, in which she excelled. Later she formed her own company, Allen Reporting Services. Jenny was very active in life. This included softball, bowling, horseback riding, tennis and car racing. Her most cherished moments were her time spent being a volunteer at Wayside Waifs. She was a member of the Unity Temple on the Plaza. She is survived by her parents, Richard and Nancy Cook of Raymore, MO; brother, Tom Cook and sister in-law, Susan of Raymore, MO; sister, Julie Stock and brother in-law, Wayne of Strasburg, MO; three nieces, two nephews, five great-nieces and four great-nephews.
