JEANETTE R. FUHR
Jeanette R. Fuhr, age 75, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, August 8, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.
Services will be held on Monday, August 24th at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr., Raymore, Missouri 64083. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM followed immediately by a memorial service at 2:00 PM. Jeanette’s remains will be laid to rest on a later date at the Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery in Higginsville, Missouri.
Jeanette was born in Chillicothe, Missouri on September 27, 1950 to Lawrence Ginther and Margaret (Thompson) Ginther. She graduated from Chillicothe High School in 1968 and later attended Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, Missouri. While there, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Education in Speech and Mass Media in 1971 and met the love of her life and faithful partner, Leo. In life, Jeanette held many roles from educator to Parkinson's Disease advocate, but none as cherished as being a wife and mother. She enjoyed attending live theatre and concerts, dancing to music in the living room, baking (to have the treats for a lifelong sweet tooth), hosting others for board games and bridge club, and being a member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority in Trenton, Missouri. As a member of the United Methodist Church, Jeanette followed the creed of "Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can."
Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Margaret Ginther.
She is survived by her loving husband of fifty-four years, Leo Fuhr; two children, Brian Fuhr and Brenda Fuhr; her sister, Peggy Rush and her children, Amy Rush Howard (Bob), Jessica Rush, and EJ Rubalcava-Rush (David); and her brother, David Ginther (Julie) and their children, Katie and Claire.
