JASON W. KENNEDY

Jason William Kennedy, 16, of Raymore, Missouri passed away Dec. 5, 2010. Funeral services will be 1 PM Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Rock Brook Church 1617 E. 173rd St. Belton, MO with visitation 6-8 PM Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Raymore Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Boy Scout Troop 32 for a camp scholarship or the Leukemia Society. Jason was born February 19, 1994 in Kansas City, Missouri. Jason was a sophomore at Ray-Pec High School, member of Rock Brook Church, member of Boy Scout Troop 32 and was an Eagle Scout. He is survived by his parents, Darren and Rebecca; grandparents, Ronald and Shirley Kennedy, Carole and John Strube, Helen Phillips; great grandmother, Wilma Kennedy and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Jason always enjoyed serving others and the Lord. He spent many nights working the sound board at Rock Brook Church for the youth group band. He also worked two sessions of Rotary camp helping disabled people have a great time at camp and was looking forward to working a third. Jason loved camping, playing and serving with Boy Scout troop 32. He spent a lot of time mastering the art of crappie and bass fishing. He also enjoyed skeet shooting with family and friends in Harrisonville. Fish maybe able to relax, but his family and friends will miss him very much.
