JANET LYNN REDENBAUGH
Janet Lynn Redenbaugh, 67 of Raymore, MO passed away at home on March 9, 2022. Janet was born in Chicago, IL on July 24, 1954 to Joanne "Pat" and Frank Kaiser. She graduated from Center High School in 1972 and earned her bachelor's degree in Education Southwest Missouri State University in 1976. Later obtaining her Master's in Education from MidAmerica Nazarene University in 2001.
Janet married Charlie Redenbaugh in 1977. During their 44 years of marriage they had 3 children, Amy, Erin & Cari. Janet had 6 grandchildren, Charles, Sophia, Luke, Jack, Taylor & Tanner. She fulfilled her love of education by teaching for 22 years at Hickman Mills Elementary, Raymore Elementary, Shull Elementary & Stonegate Elementary. Janet is survived by Charlie Redenbaugh, Amy (Dave) Kille (Peculiar, MO), Erin (Tim) Hamilton (Lee's Summit, MO) & Cari (Ryan) Samuelson (Raymore, MO). Brother, Jeff (Cassie) Kaiser (Cypress, TX). Nephews Ryan (Meghan), Brandon (Cypress, TX) and niece Jennifer (Jamie) Fox (Albuquerque, NM). Janet was preceded in death by parents Pat & Frank Kaiser (Houston, TX).
At Southwest Missouri State Janet was a member of the College Union Board, Little Sis to the Phi Sigma Epsilon Fraternity and Association of Women's Students.
In addition to raising a busy family she was an active member in the Saucy Silhouette's, a ladies only group who met monthly for dinners, crafting and BBQs with the husbands, for 40 years. Janet also loved being a part of her teachers breakfast and bunco groups.
Janet's pride and joy were her three daughters. She loved crafting with them, creating amazing DIY decorations for their birthday parties, attending all of their activities, cooking together, shows at Starlight and going on yearly girls trips to the Ozarks.
Janet enjoyed traveling and being on the water. From trips to the Ozarks, Houston, Ely, MN, St. Thomas, Florida, Hawaii and Yellowstone, she loved being on vacation.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She loved to interact with children inside and outside the classroom and always had room on her lap to hold a baby.
A celebration of life will be held at Dogwood Gardens, 2712 N. Main St., Peculiar, MO 64078. June 4, 2022 2pm-4:30pm.

The family would like to thank all the caregivers that Janet had over the years, all are very dear to our hearts. The family would also like to thank Visiting Angels and St. Croix Hospice staff for their assistance these past few years.
