JANET MARIE LAGLE

Janet Marie Lagle, age 88, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2024, at Belton Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

Visitation will be held from 4-6:00 p.m. Friday, February 16, 2024, at Cullen Funeral Home, Inc., 612 W. Foxwood Dr., Raymore, Missouri 64083. She will be laid to rest alongside her late husband, Richard E. Lagle at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, Missouri.

Janet was born in Patoka, Indiana on December 23, 1935, the daughter of William Earl York and Mary Mae Patterson. Janet met the love of her life, Richard E. Lagle and together they were married on January 19, 1957. Their union was blessed with two daughters, Debra and Mary Jane. In life, Janet worked as a clerk for US Toy for many years. She was an avid quilter and loved working on puzzles.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents, William Earl and Mary Mae York; husband, Richard E. Lagle; brother, William E. York; and two sisters, JoAnn Cobble and Marie York.

She is survived by two loving daughters, Debra Jackson (Lonnie) and Mary Jane Landwehr; six grandchildren, Mindy, Tracey, Lindsey, Charlie, Elizabeth, and Hannah; seven great grandchildren, Mikailee, Mariah, Masyn, Aubrey, Ella, Olivia, and Makenna; and six great great grandchildren.
