JAMES ROBERT WILSON

James Robert Wilson, 43, passed away February 6th, 2021 in Raymore, Missouri.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Monday, February 15, 2021 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083. At 6:30 p.m. James' family will be sharing memories.

Jim Wilson was born on August 3rd, 1977 in Kansas City, MO, to Donna and Robert (Bob) Wilson.

Jim graduated from Ray-Pec High School in 1995. He wasn't much of a straight A student; he was more into athletics, chasing girls and hanging out with friends. Jim loved baseball, wrestling, soccer, and the rodeo. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

In 1996, Jim became a Dad for the first time with the birth of his first daughter, Ryann. He met the love of his life Christy Dodd-Wilson at a sand volleyball game in June of 2001 and got married September 28, 2002. They were blessed with two more daughters Payton and Laynee.

Jim loved nothing more than his daughters and his wife. His family was everything to him. They spent many weekends hunting, fishing, and camping as a family. The last several years were spent coaching and supporting his daughters in sports. From softball, to volleyball, to soccer, he loved supporting and cheering his girls on.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents Donna and Robert (Bob) Wilson, his maternal and paternal grandparents and his uncle Donald (Donny) Wilson.

He is survived by his wife, Christy Dodd- Wilson, his 3 daughters, Ryann Cunningham, Payton Wilson, and Laynee Wilson.
