JAMES ROBERT SWOGER

James "Jim" Robert Swoger, age 76, of Peculiar, Missouri, passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021 at Menorah Medical Century in Overland Park, Kansas.

The family will be holding a private celebration of life.

Jim was born in Kansas City, Missouri on May 11, 1945 to James Swoger and Elsie E. (Gregory) Swoger. Jim graduated from Raytown High School and went on to further his education in various areas. He worked for many years at Western Electric in production. In life Jim absolutely loved animals. He would raise all kinds on his farm. Jim loved cars, motorcycles, and was a hardworking man dedicated completely to his family.

Jim was preceded in death by his loving wife of forty-one years, Mary Elizabeth Swoger; parents, James and Elsie Swoger; daughter, Debra Lynn Benus; and sister Darlene Swoger.

He is survived by his brother, Pat Swoger (Yolanda); daughter, Lisa Jenkins (Keith); son, Timothy Beerbaur; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
