JAMES ROBERT HOLLER

James Robert Holler, age 75, of Belton, Missouri, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at home on Sunday, November 3, 2024.

James was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado on January 19, 1949 to Carl William Holler, Sr. and H. Juanita (Davis). For thirty years, he worked for the United States Post Office. In life, James was blessed with one daughter, Mari. He enjoyed bowling, spent many years camping and canoeing, playing softball, enjoying a glass of Jack Daniels, cooking, and baking. James had his own cookbooks that he put together of every recipe he ever used. He was also a big fan of the Kansas City Chiefs. Nearest to James' heart was his friends and family, and they will always remember his teasing banter and light hearted personality.

James was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and H. Juanita; and two sisters, Frances Fae Chaffin and Juanita Ann Wolken.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Mari Edwards; five grandchildren, Johnny, Loren, Chelsie, Carter, and Carson; three great grandchildren, Wesley, Murphie, and Matty; brother Bill Holler (wife Pamela); and Jay, Fawnia, and Tabitha Dieterich whom he raised as his own throughout their younger years. James also leaves behind his two canine companions, Raven and Bebe.
