JAMES L. GUTSHALL

James L. Gutshall, 65, of Raymore, Missouri went home to be with the Lord on Easter Sunday, April 24, 2011, after a very brief illness. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Thursday April 28, 2011 at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Raymore, MO with visitation 5-8 PM Wednesday at the church. Graveside services 2:00 PM Thursday at Crescent Hill Cemetery in Adrian, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to the Church for a commissioned stained glass window. James was born October 28, 1945 in Butler, Missouri, the son of Charles Emery and Beulah Scott Gutshall. He is survived by his wife, Ginger of 38 years; daughters, Jamie Christensen and husband Cameron, Kerry Stoppiello and husband Thomas; two grandchildren, James and Peter Stoppiello; four brothers, John Gutshall and wife Wilma, Clyde "Dub" Gutshall and wife Bonnie, Paul Gutshall and wife Darlene, Charles Gutshall and wife Charlotte; two sisters, Levon Musgrave and husband John, and Dee Ann Abplanalp and husband Bob. James was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend to many. He retired from Sprint after 25 years of services and spent the next 7 years consulting around the country. Jim loved to be with his family, create stained glass, and to spend time between their two homes in Raymore and Florida. Although he is gone from us he is present with the Lord and we will be reunited again.
